What is Crotchet Beat ?
An interactive CD-ROM for Music Theory up to Grade 1, with explanations and plenty of opportunity for repeated practice.
Who is it for?
It is aimed at children who have recently started learning a musical instrument. Children as young as 7 could start using it, although it would be some time before they could complete everything. Especially useful for those who find theory difficult or boring. Some adults are also happy to learn from it.
Computer system requirements
At present there is only a PC version.
Minimum requirements are: 486 or Pentium with Windows 95 or later; 8MB RAM; 42MB hard disk space; 256 colours; CD drive; mouse.
Recommended: Pentium; 16MB RAM; screen resolution 800x600; High Colour (16bit).
